Europejskie Centrum Owocowe (E.C.O. Group) is an organization associating 149 modern fruit farms with a total area of 1,700 ha located in the vicinity of Grójec and Warka. The Group is one of the largest producers and distributors of fruit and vegetables in Poland. Our products find customers on 23 foreign markets. In recent years, we have specialized in growing berries by dynamically expanding the area of plantations: blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, becoming the leading supplier of this product to retail chains.

Safety and the highest quality of the produced food is the main priority of our Group. For this reason, we have invested in a state-of-the-art laboratory, unique in our industry in Poland and Europe, the purpose of which is to fully control the fruit that enters the plant and is marketed after packing. Together with the University of Warsaw, we are conducting a research project on the study of pesticide residues on fruit and activities aimed at reducing them. In this context, we should also stress that we have the installation generating ozone in the course of individual technological processes, i.e. sorting, packing and storing fruit. Our research focuses on reducing the residues of plant protection products on fruit subjected to the ozonation process, which is This is crucial in the context of the production of food that is neutral for human health.
Our business is based on our commitment to the highest quality products. We are fully aware that only such an approach can provide us with a strong, stable position in Poland and in foreign markets. As a result, we invest in quality assurance systems, from the producer and his activities during the fruit production period to complex final product preparation processes. The certificates obtained and the quality management systems implemented confirm the highest level of professional competence of E.C.O. Group.
In addition, we focus on the aspect of ecology in the daily activities of the company. Investments made in the ozone installation and the photovoltaic farm at the Group's plant actively support the fight for the natural environment of the Grójec region, significantly reducing the "water footprint" (in the case of biological water treatment with ozone) and the "carbon footprint" (lower consumption of conventional energy) left by our company. We want to minimize the burden on the natural environment associated with the technological processes of E.C.O. Group.
